It was great to be a part of the Microsoft Dynamics User Group Summit in Orlando this past week, the annual conference for users of the Microsoft Business Applications platform – featuring education on all versions of Dynamics 365, AX, CRM, GP, BC/NAV, Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow. With credible peer-to-peer knowledge exchange at its core, the event provided focused learning and networking as attendees gained instrumental solutions for their everyday system challenges and larger organizational goals.

This year we heard the importance of the Microsoft Power Platform and the suite of applications and features that will be the focus of future growth. With Power Platform, users can improve productivity across their business with an integrated application platform that combines Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow. Because these solutions are designed to work together, everyone across the business can quickly and easily build custom apps, automate workflows to improve business productivity, and analyze data for insights—no matter their technical expertise.

Of course, this is only the beginning of what’s possible. I wanted to share with you how DynamicPoint’s Office 365 SharePoint PortalsInvoice Automation and Expense Management products deliver the right functionality to complete the story.

For app users and end user organizations, the benefits are plenty. Seamless two-way integration between your existing ERP / CRM information and a secure and customizable SharePoint portal gives your customers and vendors more effective, accurate, profitable and FASTER customer service experiences— all at a fraction of the cost of other solutions. All of our apps are built with integrations to Microsoft Flow for Workflow, Power BI for reporting and PowerApps for mobility. This is delivered on the Office 365 SharePoint Platform offering security, branding, content management and more.

For Microsoft Partners and Value Added Resellers (VARs/SIs), there are a multitude of opportunities to deliver these services in conjunction with our applications. Our SharePoint portal apps integrate directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX, GP, NAV and CRM to seamlessly connect customer and vendor data with Dynamics. What’s more, they proactively drive Azure consumption across the Power Platform, which, as we know, is a great play for Microsoft and supports your customer’s digital transformation in the cloud.

For Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) looking to share their app information with customers, vendors or employees, the DynamicPoint portal app is the perfect way to connect their solution with users. Our portal application integrates using the Microsoft Dynamics web services so virtually any information can be included in the configuration of the portal. That means the functionality that you are delivering for your specific industry solution can be easily included. With some simple configuration, your product will have a SharePoint Office 365 based portal, with real time integration to your data.  You can then share this information with customers and vendors with no additional costs or licensing requirements. In short, ISVs have a multitude of opportunities to deliver these services in conjunction with their applications.
