Software Requirements

All of DynamicPoint’s applications are delivered on the Microsoft Power Platform. Our apps are uploaded as Add-ins to SharePoint and include either Office 365 or on-premise versions. For Office 365 deployments, any subscription that includes SharePoint is adequate. For on-premise deployments we request that customers adhere to the minimum hardware and software requirements for SharePoint as defined by Microsoft.

Complementary Products:

DynamicPoint’s product development approach entails taking full advantage of the suite of products that comprise the Microsoft Power Platform and are offered through Office 365 licensing.  Typically all of these products are included with your company’s Office 365 subscription so no additional licensing is generally required.

DynamicPoint Requirements Gathering Questionnaires:


A licensed user is required for anyone within the company that will be accessing DynamicPoint applications.  Customers, vendors and partners will not need a paid license as they are considered external users.  External licenses are offered by Microsoft at no additional costs for unlimited users.

Power Automate

Microsoft Power Automate is used for workflow, escalations, notifications, as well as 3rd party system integrations.  Various licensing methods exist but generally the version that comes with Office 365 is sufficient.

Can be used for dashboard creation and analysis of DynamicPoint application data.

While DynamicPoint’s applications are responsive and mobile friendly, sometimes a separate app experience is desired.  PowerApps can be used to configure a separate mobile app with integration to DynamicPoint’s products.
